SWO Here I go...

So it came back Tuesday that I did not get picked up for Naval Special Warfare (SEALs). That's okay; I kind of knew it was coming. My screener did not go as well I would have hoped and neither did my recommendation interview (I doubt the guy even recommended me).

So now I will go to a ship. Hopefully I will be high in line to make my selection so I don't get stuck in some rust-bucked out of Alaska or something. Ideal goal would be a ship out of Mayport (near Jacksonville, FL), Pascagoula (MS), or Norfolk (VA). But I'll just have to see how that goes.

Many thanks to all who helped me/worked with me/prayed for me along the way. Time to see what's really in store now!

It's back...

So I've decided to bring this back. I guess I'll try to make this a more productive and introspective use of my time compared to what I usually do when I don't have enough to do (cruise the internet reading about things of interest to me).
